Andrew M. Suthern, CIM®, CFP®, CFA®, FCSI®
Senior Investment AdvisorAndrew’s professional history is a study in dedication and focus which illustrates the commitment he had made towards his craft.
After graduating University with a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in 1993 Andrew started his financial services career with a major Canadian Chartered Bank and subsequently their full-service brokerage arm. In 1997 he left the brokerage arm of the bank to join an independent financial services company where he developed his investment and financial planning process and has been applying it to a loyal client base ever since.
There is no better example of the commitment Andrew has towards the duty of a professional advisor than his academic career. While Andrew’s University experience would have satisfied most advisor firms, he went on to add a number of designations to his resume. These include:
2012 Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®)
2002 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®)
2000 Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)
2005 Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®)
Andrew’s combination of technical knowledge, strong ethical beliefs and a deeply felt need to help others has made him an excellent example of how good financial advisors can be.
Andrew currently volunteers at the Canadian Securities Institute where he assists with the review and editing of the Professional Financial Planning (PFP) exam.
